An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and ambitious digital marketeer to join a market leading and fast growing manufacturer and distributor of high quality wiring, lighting and electrical accessories, supplied through the UK electrical wholesale and retail/DIY channels.

Job Responsibilities:

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for managing the company’s e-marketing activities across multiple platforms (website, social media, email, photography, video) and for supporting the wider marketing activities of the business.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working to support the marketing goals/objectives of the business, the Digital Marketing Executive will maintain responsibility for the following activities:

  • Researching market trends and competitor activities.
  • Defining and implementing strategies across multiple digital platforms to build followers and brand awareness, reviewing analytics and reporting on the performance of activities.
  • Website content management, including ongoing development and regular updating of news stories, product information, digital media, etc., ensuring alignment on 3rd party websites.
  • Social media management and content origination across multiple platforms.
  • Email campaign management and content origination, ensuring a regular communication programme targeted at the wider customer base.
  • Photography and video creation to support new product launches, to promote the features and benefits of the brands and product portfolio, and to assist with troubleshooting.
  • Copywriting, editing, and proofreading of all offline and online product and marketing collateral.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years B2B experience as either a Digital Marketing Assistant or Digital Marketing Executive within an FMCG business
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills
  • Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adopt the brand’s tone of voice
  • Attention to detail and a thorough and accurate approach to work
  • Resourceful and lateral thinking with a creative approach to tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in both a team environment and independently
  • Strong project management and problem solving skills
  • A self-starter with a 'can do’ attitude who is able to multitask and prioritise
  • Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to deliver results and progress within the organisation
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Desirable

  • Degree in Marketing or Communications, or CIM Qualification
  • Photography and video editing
