EV Business Development Manager

MISSION:

To develop Deta’s EV sales strategy by defining and implementing the commercial and sales strategy incorporating associated activities, ensuring their alignment with the company’s business objectives. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

The role reports to the Managing Director and entails the following responsibilities: 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Deta’s EV sales strategy for small and medium scale new build residential opportunities.
  • Work with the Senior Product Managers to define the strategy for growth through housebuilders, property developers, electrical wholesalers, and electrical contractors.
  • Establish strong working relationships with existing key customer accounts and work closely with these customers to effectively service their requirements and identify areas for mutually profitable growth.
  • Maximise sales opportunities, proactively seek avenues for new business and convert these into profitable sales.
  • Plan, forecast and report upon sales activity within your area against KPIs.
  • Work collaboratively and develop relationships with all internal departments and stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience: 

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sales of AC and or DC Charging points or relevant business development experience.
  • Previous commercial EV experience with a demonstrable track record of working with a technically complex product or solution. 
  • Successful sales track record 
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
  • A professional, self-motivated, and passionate person with drive and ambition
  • Full UK driving licence
