Internal Proactive Telesales Representative

Department: Sales

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire

Reports To: Internal Sales Manager

Mission: To contribute to generating sales for the company and close sales over the phone whilst maintaining good customer relationships.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential and exciting customers to inform them about our existing and new products
  • Making outbound customer calls or cold calls to sell products and services
  • Understand customer requirements and close sales
  • Answer questions about products, pricing, or company
  • Negotiate bulk or package deals
  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer information and call information onto our CRM tool
  • Direct prospects to our field team when necessary
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet and exceed sales targets and facilitate future sales

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a telesales representative or other sales/customer focus role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota, preferable over the phone
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn about new products and services, to describe them to our prospects
  • Cool temperate and able to handle rejection
  • Have previous experience with B2B wholesale or e-commerce
  • Be organised & have excellent attention to detail
  • Have a proactive & 'can-do' approach to tasks and work
  • Be eager to take ownership of your tasks
  • Motivated and drive individual
