Channel

Established in 1976, Channel Smarter Safety is a leading branded manufacturer and supplier to the UK Electrical Wholesaler and Electrical Contractor markets for LED commercial lighting, emergency lighting and fire safety systems. We became part of Deta Electrical Co Ltd in 2015. We have built up a strong reputation in LED Lighting and safety systems with the Emergency and Commercial lighting portfolios as well as in the Fire Detection, Security (Door Entry and CCTV) and Disability Assistance fields.

Our knowledge, strength of service and attention to detail have earned us multiple accreditations from the industries’ leading regulatory and trade bodies, and we are proud to be affiliated with ICEL (Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting), and as an affiliated manufacturer to the EDA (Electrical Distributors Association). We are also accredited with BSI and the Apollo Partner Plus programme.

OPENING HOURS, DELIVERY & DISPATCH INFORMATION

Our opening hours are from 8.00am - 5.00pm on Monday to Thursday and 8.00am -4.00pm on Friday. 

All orders placed before 3pm will be sent for next day delivery, depending on stock availability. Dispatch days are Monday through to Friday.

Delivery Charges

  • Minimum Order Value = £150. All orders below this value are subject to £10.00 standard delivery charge
  • No “extra” charge for next day delivery
  • Timed deliveries are available subject to an additional premium, please contact our sales office on 0845 884 7000 or email [email protected] for a quote
  • All prices quoted exclude VAT

On site deliveries, or deliveries different to billing addresses are made entirely at the customer's own risk and are on the understanding that safe access is available. Channel will not be liable for lost goods after having obtained signature on site if further goods are required
