Wednesdsay 20th August saw Deta Electrical, sponsored by Chiltern Transport & Warehousing Ltd., visit Powerleague Luton for the Business Fives five-a-side tournament
Led by Retail Key Account Manager, Ciaran Hunt, the team went into their debut tournament eager to test their skills against teams from across the business community. Forming the squad was Daniel Palmer-Harding, Caleb Campbell, Devante King, Kieran Storrie, Robert Tucker, Matthew England and Harry Chapman.
While the players showed lots of energy on the pitch, it was off the field where the team truly left their mark. Deta Electrical were recognised for their efforts and were awarded for being the participating squad with the highest charity donation.
Spirits were high from kick-off to the final whistle, with plenty of goals and laughs throughout the tournament and even reaching the Europa Conference League final!
A great day for Deta Electrical, and a fantastic effort from the lads to raise some money for Keech Hospice Care.
