Detanet Update: What’s Coming on 7 April 2026

On Tuesday 7 April, Detanet, Deta’s online ordering platform for electrical wholesalers, will be updated with a number of improvements and some additional functionality, designed to support faster, easier ordering for our wholesale partners.

Alongside the immediate enhancements you’ll see at launch, this update will also provide a more flexible foundation for future developments. While customers will notice some refinements, the overall Detanet experience will remain familiar and closely aligned with how the platform is used today.

Below, we’ve outlined what you need to know ahead of launch, along with a light preview of what’s to come.

What You Need to Know

We want to reassure you that accessing the updated Detanet will be straightforward. On Tuesday 7 April, simply visit Detanet using the same website address (detanet.co.uk) you use today. You’ll be presented with a new login page, where you’ll be asked to set up new login details.

Once this has been completed, you’ll be able to sign in and continue using Detanet as normal. Your account details will still be available, allowing you to continue ordering as normal on the new platform.

A Hint of What’s to Come

From the moment you land on the updated Detanet, you’ll begin to notice subtle improvements. These include a more flexible login experience and updates to the home page that make key information easier to find.

Navigation throughout the site has been refined, helping you move more easily through the product catalogue and locate products more quickly using the improved menu structure and search functionality.

Product pages have also been enhanced, bringing together clearer information such as images, descriptions and downloadable documents to better support purchasing decisions.

Ordering has been designed to be more efficient, with multiple ways to build and manage orders. New features such as saved carts and a wishlist make it easier to plan future orders, while improved visibility of sales order history and back order information supports easier tracking of previous and outstanding orders.

You’ll also have access to a central dashboard, making it easier to navigate the site and access key areas of your account.
