Timeguard has unveiled the new LEDX II Coastal Floodlight, an enhanced version of its the highly successful LEDX floodlight, designed specifically for use in coastal, high-corrosion and harsh outdoor environments.
Building on the proven performance and reliability of the original LEDX fitting, the new LEDX II range introduces a number of key upgrades that make it ideal for demanding applications where durability and flexibility are essential.
The fitting features a high-quality polycarbonate body, engineered to withstand impact and long-term exposure to the elements, while a stainless steel mounting bracket and fixings provide superior resistance to corrosion, making it perfectly suited for coastal locations and exposed outdoor areas. The robust construction ensures long service life and reduced maintenance, even in challenging conditions.
A major enhancement is the inclusion of a modular IP65-rated PIR, giving installers and end users greater control and versatility. The modular design allows the sensor to be configured either as a photocell only, enabling dusk-to-dawn operation, or as a PIR sensor, where the fitting activates on movement from dusk until dawn. This flexibility allows the LEDX II Coastal floodlight to meet a wide range of security and energy-saving requirements.
The LEDX II Coastal also introduces colour-changing white LED technology, allowing users to select between warm white, cool white or daylight output. This adjustable colour temperature ensures the fitting can be tailored to suit different environments, applications and user preferences, all from a single product.
