Using advanced pulse width modulation technology, the PV1000 precisely matches the energy being diverted to the amount of solar surplus available, ensuring maximum efficiency without drawing power from the grid. This intelligent regulation adapts throughout the day as solar generation and household consumption levels change.

Unlike complex solar management systems requiring multiple components, the PV1000 arrives as a complete solution featuring the main control unit, wireless display monitor, and CT clamp sender. This all-in-one approach simplifies specification for electrical contractors while reducing installation complexity and potential failure points.

The wireless display unit can be positioned up to 30 metres away from the main controller, allowing homeowners to monitor their energy savings from anywhere in the house. Real-time data shows exactly how much energy has been saved today, yesterday, over the last 7 days, 28 days, and total savings since installation.

Beyond automatic solar diversion, the PV1000 includes three programmable timer periods per day, allowing homeowners to schedule additional hot water heating when needed. The manual boost function provides 15-minute increments up to 2 hours for immediate hot water requirements, clearly displaying whether power is being drawn from solar or grid sources.

The backlit LCD display provides clear status information, showing "Heating by Solar" when diverting excess energy, "Water Tank Hot" when the thermostat limit is reached, and "Water Heating OFF" when insufficient surplus is available.
